hello world visitors

Fui ali ao sitemeter ver e tenho algumas visitas, poucas. Serão sempre os mesmos? Gabo-lhes a paciência. Não ando nada interessante a escrever. O que me intriga sempre são os visitantes do estrangeiro. Caem aqui por acaso e passam à frente, ou são portugueses com saudades de ler na sua língua? Os americanos, do norte e do sul é que me surpreendem mais. E no Mato Grosso?
Podem ser as fotos, caem aqui nas pesquisas. Pois. No outro dia escrevi um texto em inglês para eles, vou tentar de novo, a ver se comentam.

Hello from Algarve, in the south of Portugal. We are having a heat wave, but its ok because there are plenty of beachs around. The sand is white and the sea is warm and calm. Jealous?
The great thing about Portugal is that we are a well kept secret, and unlike Spain (our neighbour) we are not totally spoiled and keep very traditional, but modern at the same time.
We don´t have nuclear plants in the country, not many industries and pollution, a democratic government and no terrorists. Because we are a country since the twelve century, with the same frontiers, we have lots of historic sites to visit, everywhere, castles, pre-historic sites, roman cities. The interior of the country is still very agricultural, so you can see lots of interesting things like the country being plowed by cows and so on. You must really see the vinyards in the Douro, planted in steps, where the Porto wine is made and cities like Oporto, Évora , and Lisbon. So, thats all.
